Getting out of the hospital today!

Looks like Kashius is getting out of the hospital today--yay!!!

White blood cell count slowly growing

The chest tube is out, and the lung is fine...now to fight the pneumonia, which is hard to do without white blood cells of your own. The white blood cells are growing everyday though! They hope to bring Kashius home by Wednesday, just in time for Easter weekend. 

Tube is out.

The catheter tube is out of Kashius' lung today. They are waiting to see if his lung will inflate on its own. If not, they will have to reinsert the tube. Let's hope they don't have to!
